The prices are absurd compared to the authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Little Saigon (e.g., $8.50 for a bowl of pho). We left after reading the menu and waiting ten minutes for service that never arrived.

I have to laugh at the complaints about the cost of pho here vs. in Vietnam. Try living on the average salary of a resident of Vietnam and then see how cheap it is. Soup in Little Saigon is still a bargain.

We're meeting some friends Thursday evening at the Hilton in Costa Mesa (on Bristol). We were planning to go to a tofu house in Norwalk we like but it's too far away for the time we'll have. Any suggestions about a Korean tofu house in Costa Mesa or nearby?
