Fresh/local fruit or vegetable stands in/near Miami
Hello!
I am coming to Miami to stage an artful food project at the Verge Art Fair this week. I need to find fresh/local fruit stands before the weekend farmers' markets. Does anyone know of any good roadside spots with produce? Any info would be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to experience fresh and delicious food presented as art within the context of Art Basel/Miami Beach, come see us-we are the Wild Feasties! www.wildfeasties.com -website live 12/1

NYC Foodies bound for Philly
I am looking for a delicious celebratory dinner in Philly. We are a group of hardcore foodies from NYC. We aren't looking for Le Bec Fin level but something that is similarly delicious but with a bit more flavor (pun and no-pun intended.)
Thanks!
Happy Hour with Food in Tribeca
I am looking for a bar in Tribeca that could accommodate about 20 people for drinking and eating. Nothing fancy, as we are all artists, but with delicious bar food (not an oxymoron!).
Guyanese food in Ozone Park?

Brooklyn Suggestions. . dinner for one. . .NOT FANCY!!!
I would like to recommend some delicious food in Fort Greene. Pequena for Mexican is always a treat. The Smoke Joint is a must try for Barbeque. Maggie Brown is a hearty, homey spot with great hearty, homey food. Teddy's in Prospect Heights is a must-eat. Teddy makes some fantastic Greek food. I'm not sure if this is "off the beaten path" but it is worth the trip across Flatbush Ave, to be sure.
South End Restaurant
Two foodies from NYC are looking for a mid-priced restaurant with great wine on Harrison Street or vicinity. Any suggestions?
the single guy in fort greene - hot tips on take-out?
Zaytoons on Myrtle is incredible Middle Eastern...and cheap! Kum Kao, also on Myrtle is not bad chinese. Choice Market on Lafayette has amazing samdwiches, etc, as does the little french place on the corner of Dekalb and Vanderbilt. For Greek, Teddy's on Washington Ave is great but it's in Prospect Heights so maybe that's too far. Good Luck!
