IMO, The quality of the food declined at the original location after the Ambler location opened, we recently dined at the Original location and my chicken parm was poor: sauce was barely warm and chicken STILL FROZEN in the middle. I was surprised that it was not made fresh- especially on a friday night. Will not return or try the new location/

Cw Donald: If there is "no such thing" as organic, may I respectfully ask why you bothered to write in your post above that Vedge is both Organic and vegetarian?
To answer your question, I did a little research prior to posting: I checked vedge's website and called the restaurant to ask. I was advised that They do not use organic veggies. Based upon your comment above- I was hoping it was an organic menu--- But it is disappointing they are not.

Vegan friendly in Ambler/Blue Bell?
I would try Arpeggio's or you can go to Whole Foods early Sunday morning and have first dibs on the buffet and bring it home to serve for dinner later. There are lots of vegan options. Not organic though. There are no vegan restaurants in the area.

Where to buy ... FRESH lemon verbena
I have not been to the Reading Terminal Market lately but there used to be an organic fair food farmstand. They carried many varieties of fresh organic herbs and microgreens. I am sure that they can get lemon verbena. Good luck and enjoy!

I recommend Sovana Bistro- it is excellent. It will take you ~ 10 minutes each way from Longwood Gardens.

I found white and bicolor corn at Maple Acres in Plymouth Meeting- the white was very sweet and I preferred it over the bicolor which seemed overgrown and starchy (at least the ones that I brought home).

I agree, you can get gelato in LA and I recommend John's Water Ice too.

Your son will also probably get a kick out of the "Philly accents" at Villa Di Roma for italian, my 14 year old son was scolded by the waitress for not eating his entire plate of spaghetti: "Eatcha macaroni!!!"
For breakfast eat at the "Dutch Eating place" at the Reading Terminal market "for fun" or Cafe Estelle for a great breakfast that will satisfy you and that you will enjoy (I am referring to the LA standards for breakfast- you'll know what I am implying once you get here).
My 14 year old likes the Continental Midtown for a decent burger.
If you rent bikes- ride the Wissahickon Trail/Forbidden Drive. It is incredibly beautiful and my favorite spot to ride with my son. There is a restaurant on the trail called Valley Green Inn- I have not eaten there in a while but it might be a fun excursion. Do a google search on Forbidden Drive or wiki Wissahickon Creek.

I called Two Gander farm and they will be at Bryn Mawr farmers mkt at end of the month. I know they have Raw honey but I forgot to ask if they will have Raw honey at the market.

I just called them for you and they have RAW LOCAL Honey.
I asked three times to confirm.
Also, check out Two Gander Farm local honey.
