|
|
I am officially in pizza delivery hell...I don't know what I did wrong in my last life. what area are you in? maybe we can recommend some more local joints. |

I totally LOVE Dessert Lady. My buddy swear by their chocolate cupcake. I like them too. (Is it dense, yes, but I like it that way). But you are also correct with their biscotti and cookies. If you are there again, I recommend their rice pudding (if you like that), and their tirmisi cup. They are both very good. And their lemon moose is very nice too. (If you like strong tart lemon) |

It was a very FUN day too! Even though the restaurant planned that day weren't ALL perfect, it was the experience that made it all so much fun! You will have a great time. (We filmed a lot of it, but lately, work had been taking up most of my time, so i haven't had a chance to edit the day together, which I will do during my Christmas holiday!) |

You are talking about Empire restaurant right? (I think they changed name) |

LF: Yummy Restaurant -Chinese, Indian, Thai, Malaysian, fusion North York eh... I guess I must give a recommendation to Congee Star on Don Mills. (Just north of Eglinton,Wyford) It's Chinese all the way. It's actually more Hong Kong style. Try their clams with a black bean sauce. One of my favorite is their spicy diced turnip cake. (Ask for extra spicy! YUMMMY) And if you are into fried squid, go for the fried spicy one too. |

Reunion party - 40 ppl, GTA north?! Actually, here is a surprise. O Mei on Hwy 7 and Valleymede. THey have majong/karaoke stuff. If you know to order, they make a good dinner. (Chinese). And the best part is, if you have less "adventurous" eater, they can always have the Chinese Canadian Style. Rico is the owner's name. Ask him for free desserts! :P |

Best All You Can Eat Japanese in Toronto GTA One of my favorite is Miriko on Danforth. (next to second cup) Although it was "okay" the last time I was there, but they have/had really good rolls. And it's 15 bucks a pop. Try them out. |

Inexpensive but GOOD Party Trays! What do you suggest to be on the tray. I rather not cook as much that day. too many guests, usually means a mess! |
|

Indian in the Annex: Mt. Everest vs. Nataraj I had the lunch buffet at Mr. Everest when it first opened. It wasn't all that impressive and the food was alright. Maybe I will give it another shot. |

Inexpensive but GOOD Party Trays! Wow. I think I would love to do Bloor West. Since I do frequent that area for food, I think it woulud be perfect! |

Inexpensive but GOOD Party Trays! i believe it's just a supersize of one dish. (fried rice/noodle. they have a list) It's actually a good chow. |

Inexpensive but GOOD Party Trays! I live right in the hood. And Congee Star is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Good Call! thanks!! |

Inexpensive but GOOD Party Trays! You blink and it's Christmas around the corner. Wifey demanded a boxing day party! (well, she is right in saying so!) So, let's put the chow-brains to work! I am looking for food that I don't have to cook. Reheating is fine, but I prefer most to be already done! I don't have a large budget so I can't afford it to be cartered. We are estimating a 50-75 people walk thru Open house. So that also means that food has to be able to be reheated or okay room-temperture. I am good with dessert. (It pays to have a great baker friend!) We like all kind of food. So varity is good. Suggestion? Party trays that worked well for your parties? Maybe even recipes which is so simple even I can do ;) Thanks guys!! |

Hi Everyone, I know it's only Nov, but I already booked my hotel for my Montreal new year's getaway! I am looking for a nice dinner for 2. Budget about $150-200. A new New Year Eve dinner to celebrate. Suggestions? Note: Food comes before Astomphere. And if I don't have to spend that much, I would be happy too! |
|

Canadian Version of "Burgers to Eat Before You Die" ? After reading, We decided (well, I decided) to go and eat at Shanghai Cowgirl. The burger (8oz beef plus fried mushrooms) is very good. It's not the best in the world, but I think it's one of the best in Toronto. (I worked in AUstin Texas back when!) |
