Need ideas for left over Prosciutto
well, i asked for 1/4 of a lb and got a 1/2 instead. The main purpose for the prosciutto was for a salad (arugula, pear, prosciutto, shaved parm reggiano, lemon vinegrette - so good!) so with the "leftovers" i've made a few things...omelete, sandwiches on crusty bread, just wrapped with cheese...i still have more to go...i love prosciutto!!
Need ideas for left over Prosciutto
I'm looking for some easy and quick meal ideas that can use up my left over prosciutto.
thanks!
Guilty Pleasure
i can't believe no one has said pigs-in-a-blanket. those are my absolute favorite....superbowl parties and cocktail hours just aren't the same without them.
Office Meeting Catering
Mangia and Lynn's cafe were pretty much the go to places for us but we got sick of the same food. We've ordered catering from Chop't qite a bit as well as catering from Pret A Manger. Fresco on the Go also has a pretty good catering menu. Hope that helps. Oh and for Pizza, definitley do Angelo's.

So we're throwing a big birthday bbq this weekend and can't seem to decide on what beer (bottles/cans) to get. We're having the usual...burgers, dogs, chicken, sausage. We're no beer experrts so any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Good Eats for Group of 8 Chicks?
Hi. My friends and I have started a Grub Club where we get together once a month and try a new restaurant. I get to make the next pick but I'm having a problem with being able to make a reservation for a big group. Any ideas for restaurants that are good for group dining? Looking for tasty eats with good/fun atmosphere. Any cuisine will do. Thanks!
What are your thoughts on A Voce
I've been back 5 times. Everything is great here...We have the ricotta with grilled bread and duck meatballs to start, antipastis are all great, the pastas are all amazing and perfectly cooked - there was not one thing I disliked about the place. Service was great each time and the noise level didn't affect us too much - maybe it depends on where you are seated. In any event, I highly recommend A Voce.
Cozy/Neighborhood Italian on UES?
Spigolo on 81st & 2nd is a great cozy Italian spot. It might be on the pricier side but the food and atmosphere are worth it. It's my favorite Italian place on the UES.
Suggestions for Tarrytown/surrounding area restaurants
Hello..I'm meeting my two best girlfriends to celebrate our 30th birthdays and was hoping to get some recommendations for restaurants in or near tarrytown (as they'll be picking me up at the train station there). We don't get together that often so something on the nicer end/more upscale would be great. We're looking to spend no more than $100/person. I'll take suggestions for all cuisines..small plates to large ones. Thanks!
Good veggie burger in midtown
Houston's has the best veggie burger I've ever had. Citicorp building isn't too far from there..around 53rd and lex/3rd.

Going to A Voce for Lunch tomorrow:
The fresh ricotta starter is amazing..it's a must, duck meatballs, can't go wrong with any of the pastas..basically everything is great. Oh and get the brussel sprouts as a side..delicious.

Really? even though the site says "the best part is you fill your shells when you need them! Its Always fresh. Now you
can boast that you'll never have a soft shell again!" ? Tough decision to make here :) Thanks for all of your advice...

Boqueria, new tapas restaurant in the Flatiron District?
Yes it's a great place for a group, there is one long communal table in the middle of the dining area, although I'm not sure if they take reservations. Great food, wine and ambiance.
ps..that patatas bravas are killer at tia pol, but they're still tasty at boqueria
