Best Bread in Toronto
No, it looks like the breadmaker left them hanging when he left, when I called to complain about a sourdough that I bought every week, they said the baker left and they couldn't figure out how to make the bread. By the way, he left around August 2010 so over a year ago.
Best Indian Dining Options
I've been to many weddings in India (Bombay) but they were not like that. Probably the Christians there do it a bit differently.

How does a a Pakistani restaurant with sub-standard food make youy feel like you are in India?
Off the Hook
I don't know, as I never go for Sunday Brunch. But I do go for dinner, when bottles of wine are 1/2 price. I did have brunch a few times but it was over 2 years ago.
My guess is that you won't have much of a wait. You can always call and ask.

If you want to try some haddock and chips, Globe Bistro has a great fish and chips plate for $15, which my wife enjoys and I usually try a bit of. Last Friday she ordered the fish, and I ordered the steak frites from this menu:

What's the best sports bar on the Danforth?
The wings place at Danforth and Carlaw has new TV's, and waitresses. I only tried it once when they first opened but was not happy with the food, but it may be better now.

New Q! Stack BBQ
I read all the bad reviews about HWY 61 also, but my cousin lives close to HWY 61 and picked up food twice from there to bring to the cottage. I would never have known she got it from there as it was good!
I was just on the HWY 61 website and it says they were voted #1 ribs in Toronto by Peter Oliver and Michael Bonacini. Who would have guessed.
2012 alphonso mango sightings
What isn't going up every year? These same mangos were around $23 - 25 last year, and transportation costs have risen since then. Last time I checked, these mangos where still been flown over from India, not sent over by glider.
Alphonso mangos are only grown in India, are you sure you had some that were from Australia?
Check out the prices mentioned here from 2010 http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2010-01-12/mumbai/28124516_1_alphonso-mango-exporters-ashok-hande
7000 rupees was around $140 back then (for 48 mangos)
New Q! Stack BBQ
How does it compare to HWY 61 on Bayview? That would be the closest place to it, I imagine.
Little Coxwell Vietnamese/Thai review
The pho there was nothng special at all, I've had better from many other places that make their own.
2012 alphonso mango sightings
no problem if you get hooked on Alphonso mangos, I'll set up "Alphonso safe eating and injection sites" where you can come and get your fix.
Sushi - Danforth & Logan area
Aji Sai is where we go for sushi, but on my last visit about 3 weeks ago, I felt the overall quality was not the same as it used to be, Has anyone else noticed that?
Little Coxwell Vietnamese/Thai review
I was there sonetime in Feb after reading about it here. It's OK, nothing special. I had ordered some pho, and fried fish and was quite surprised to see someone shaking a big box of Knoor broth mix into something after I ordered, I'm sure that is what they used for the pho.
2012 alphonso mango sightings
Nothing gives the Alphonso a run for it's rupees, and definitely not an Ataulfo! I don't know if Kohinoor is the best place, but it's where I usually go as I haven't been happy with the place on the south side, a block or two west, with "cash and carry" in the name.
BJ supermarket is OK also for some items. Kohinoor looks like it got a much needed clean up when I was there last weekend. If you are looking for hard to find fruits and vegetables, it's a good place to shop. I bought some excellent okra from India there on the weekend. Indian okra is much better than the stuff you find in the regular stores, which always looks faded in colour and not very fresh. Additionally, Indian Okra does not have that slippery feel that North American varieties have, which I don't like.

That's right, I don't usually get excited about Ataulfo mangos. The ones we get here are usually from Mexico. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ataulfo_(mango)
Here is an article from the Star where Corey Mintz praises the Ataulfo, saying it's just about the top mango.
http://www.thestar.com/living/article/427903--sweet-news-ataulfos-are-in-season
If Tommy Atkins is the cheap chocolate of mangoes, then the Ataulfo, often billed as young, baby, yellow, or honey manilla, is closer to ganache-filled truffles
I guess the writer hasn't heard of Alphonso mangos!
Sushi - Danforth & Logan area
But it's only about a 5 - 8 minute walk from Logan.
And did you know you can actually find decent Indian food in Greektown? Aravind is finally pretty good, and I recently ate at Sher-e-Punjab after many years. It was quite good and I'd return again.
Sushi - Danforth & Logan area
Depends on what you think is decent. They aren't like the high end places a all, but if you want to get a lunch or dinner for $10 or so, they work.
ISO Sausage Meat
It seems you live near Pape and Danforth from your original post, so you should visit Ellas and see what they have. It's a full service butcher shop and they have even aged T-bones for me in the cooler for over 30 days. I'd just go in and they'd cut a few steaks of the piece with my name on it.
ISO Sausage Meat
Herne,
have you been to Ellas on Pape, just south of Danforth? They should have what you want. They are also very helpful. They make sausages there, so I bet they have what you want.
2012 alphonso mango sightings
I figured it was Alphonso mango season, so headed over to Kohinoor Foods on Gerrard street on Saturday. I picked up a box of 12 for $26. I tried one today and it was perfect. The guy in the store said they have had them for 3 or 4 weeks now. I just wanted to mention they are here and taste fine.
I also bought a few chicoos (sapodilla) and they tasted great also.
Logan and Danforth
Herne,
Fruit King is still around, they moved across the street to the location that was Fruitland which was run by the same family as Fruit King. Check out this article from a few years ago, which says the owner of the Fruit King property wanted to build a 4 storey apartment at that corner. I hope that is not what is happening there.

Logan and Danforth
If you mean literally rotten, I don't agree. But some of what they sell is either b-grade, or stuff that is being cleared out from the distributor as it has only a few days of life left. But that obviously suits many people, as Fruit King has been busy all these years. As they say around Church St, there's a fruit for everybody.
Logan and Danforth
I noticed that Fruit King was closed and the other store had Fruit King labels on all the products when I went shopping on Monday.
That's too bad about it being demolished, that store had been around for over 70 years. I once found a picture in the Toronto Archives of Fruit King in the 1930's. It looked pretty much the same. I just looked but didn't find it now.

Polapady was charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and administering a noxious substance, (he threw spices at the thief'). Just goes to show you, spices have to be cooked with food and served on a plate, not thrown at someone who is stealing your property.
