Saturday Brunch, what's good?

"The Coffeehouse Breakfast" -- Includes all of your basic food groups - sugar, coffee,
bacon & beer! All that’s missing is the nicotine.
One Mighty Fine Waffle with whipped cream and a side
of bacon. Coffee syrup instead of maple, served with a
pint of BBC Coffeehouse Porter. (You must provide
your own cigarettes.) 12.99

Back Bay--is it hopeless?

How can anyone dismiss the Back Bay with L'Espalier and Clio, arguably the best in Boston, bar none. Budget busters, yes, but L'Espalier's special dinner nights mid week (Cheese or wine focussed) are $55 per person or something like that.

Dinner for 60

Had very satisfying experience holding a meeting, then dinner, in the private room at Mistral. You should see the rooms and menus here and Locke -Ober. Either would be very professionally handled.

Another Rendez-vous report

I have had consistently attentive, informative service in three visits.

Wedding shower brunch

We were just at The Other Side. If really informal works for you they have a Saturday brunch, you can reserve the whole mezzanine and look out over the scene. Cheap, good food; music can be loud but if you request moderation they'll adjust.

Funky brunch

The Other Side Cafe does a very funky brunch Saturday and Sunday until 2 or 3, the french toast was a baguette with sauteed berries and bananas, it was killer, and the huevos rancheros were great, we didn't get the migas but want to try it. Good Bloody Marys in foot-tall glasses. You can sit outside and bring the dog.
