Anyone been to Duda's in Fell's Point recently?

I've never been there, but it seems like people gushed about it a few years ago and now I keep reading that it kind of smells. Anyone have any first-hand, recent reports?

Chciken in Delaware: From Sam Sifton NYT, best dishes of 2010

Looks like he's referring to Clint Johnson, who also has a storefront in Smyrna called Oh Phoebe's. Anybody been to either the trailer or the deli?

Chicken and Dumplings near Dover, DE?

Where can I go for great chicken and dumplings (or other amazing, homemade comfort food) when I visit Dover in November? I'll have a car and I'm willing to drive as much as an hour for a special place. I want something unique. Maybe like a "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" kind of place. Any suggestions?

Fatty's is delicious. It's in Eagle Rock though - too far?

Birthday dinner in the Valley?

I am planning a birthday dinner for this Friday night. I'd love to stay in the Burbank/Studio City/Universal/Glendale world (if possible). I was thinking about Palate in Glendale, but I'd love some feedback on that. I ate there once (in December) and really enjoyed the food. The service was pretty terrible though. Anyone been there lately? Have other good suggestions?
Thanks much!!

General thoughts on St. Petersburg

Anyone have any general thoughts on the restaurant scene in St. Petersburg? I've never been there, but it seems like there are traditional Russian places for the tourists, Sushi bars for the local hipsters, and that older people don't really go out at all. What's it really like? Also, anyone ever been to the Noble Nest?
Thanks for your insight!!

Can you name just two?

Sorry, I was looking for the metaphorical Granny in the kitchen. I should have been more clear.

Can you name just two?

I will be travelling to New Orleans soon (for the first time) and have been looking around the board for ideas. Can you give me two names?
1. The restaurant that in your opinion is the epitome of New Orleans - can be fancy or humble.
2. A place that has authentic, downhome cuisine - I'm hoping for Grandma in the kitchen.

At this point in my research I am guessing 1. Galatoires and 2. Mother's (?)

My visit will be brief - please help me narrow this down!!

Inspired by Fergus Henderson?

Are there any Fergus Henderson disciples in London? Any restaurants that are similar in spirit (nose to tail) to St. John?

Any Recommendations for Brooklyn Park, MN?

Thanks for the suggestions! I also found a place called Sweet Basil that does both Thai and Vietnamese. It might be worth a try after Great India.

Any Recommendations for Brooklyn Park, MN?

I recently moved from the city to the suburbs. I would like to find something good and close by. I like all different kinds of ethnic foods and will try all price ranges. The main criteria are: close to Brooklyn Park and yummy. Thanks!
