Thurday Easy Drinks with Food

That sounds way to schmance. I was more thinking some place like wogies or gowanus yacht club or lorelei--or even shake shack, but indoors since it is supposed to rain.

Thurday Easy Drinks with Food

I am looking for a place where I can gather a group of friends without too much stress or reservations, 6-10 people, drinks and cheap eats downtown. I was thinking lorelai, but wondering if there are any other good places.

Elio's on the UES

Is this place any good? Or just one of those places that succeeds because it on UES and has lots of well dressed clientele?

Birthday Dinner - Great Atmosphere - Somewhere Downtown - Up to $30/head all-inclusive- Help! :)

Gnocco--great Italian, reasonable prices. Should be able to get in under $30 a head if you don't drink too much. East Village.

Zarela's - anyone been lately?

Food was great--waiter kept trying to upsell us though which was kind of annoying . . . kept insisting we needed more food when really we had more than enough.

Ribs tonight - blue smoke??

Went to Dinosaur last night and their ribs are pretty great. Probably the best I have had in Manhattan, not to mention a fantastic beer selection. It is a little further away (131st and 12th I think), but so worth the easy subway or cab ride.

Wjere should I go right now?

Go sit at the bar at Otto. It is late enough that it won't be crowded, and the bartender is really great . . . if you ask for advice about wine he will likely give it, and may let you even try a couple of different ones.

Beer

Dinosaur may not be as expansive as some the other places on this post, however they do have a lot of smaller beers you can't find elsewhere, and I recall at least one variety of Rogue was on tap when I went there.

LES Sushi Place

Friend is looking for this:

Random food question for you...supposedly on the LES there is a great sushi place...on the second floor, just a mostly unmarked door, on the pricey side.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Where's my best bet for chocolate? Staying at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square on my

Me too. I was going to mention richart and Maison du Chocolat in Rockefeller which has the most out of this world choclate drinks. City Bakery also has really good hot chococlate with a homemade marshmellow.

Also chickalicious and room 4 dessert are to dessert only restuarants (which would fit in your dessert bar category)
