Quick Bite near Times Union Center - Albany
I was actually thinking about Dale Miller's new place since it looks like he's serving some small plates and that might be good and quick at the bar. I like the idea of Vietnamese though... we did Lombardi's last time we saw Bruce up there and I had a big full belly of pasta. Of course that's because it was good and I ate too much :-)
Poughkeepsie/Dutchess County Delis
Rossi's...definitely. Two favorites: pork cutlets (specials on Thursdays only) and imported Italian subs.
Quick Bite near Times Union Center - Albany
Hi - we're going to the Springsteen show at the Times Union Center in Albany this week ... looking for a quick bite before the concert. I'd prefer walking distance so we only have to park once but I'm flexible on that. No preference on food type, just something tasty, not fancy and quick. Any suggestions?
Good "neighborhood" joint in Warehouse or Quarter?
Thanks for the warehouse district list ... what does everyone think of Boucherie, by the way? I don't see that in any of the suggestions.
Good "neighborhood" joint in Warehouse or Quarter?
yeah, we tried to get a res for Cochon and never got a call back... I figured they might be booked..
Good "neighborhood" joint in Warehouse or Quarter?
We're heading to NO for Jazz Fest next week and have 3 nights available for FOOD... we're going to August one night (fancy), Port of Call another night (burgers) and I want our third night to be something in between... something casual but amazing. We're staying in the Warehouse District with no car so walking distance would be preferable. Any suggestions?
Bar Meal at Blue Hill (Stone Barns)
Thanks - that's really great feedback. We also love bar meals but since it will be our first time there I don't want to have a mediocre experience. We didn't end up driving down on Sunday and I'm glad now that we didn't. I'll definitely got back to Open Table and see what they have available now.
Bar Meal at Blue Hill (Stone Barns)
Since I can't seem to get a reservation at a decent time at Blue Hill I was wondering if anyone has ever just gone in and ate at the bar? We were thinking about driving down on Sunday but thought I would check before we made the trek and got sent away. Thanks.
Seafood in Mendocino
Hi - I'm taking a trip to the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area in October and am wondering if anyone can recommend a seafood place. I found pizza (Piaci), a brew pub (North Coast Brewing Co.) and a breakfast place (Eggheads) that sound worth visiting but would love some fresh fish - something like a Passionfish down in Monterey. Any suggestions?
