German Potato Dumpling

Here is a simple way to make them...take 1 cup of potato flakes ( I use hungry jack) and 1 cup of hot water and mix..then gradually add into this 1 cup of flour...you will eventually have to mix with your hands and it will be very hot so careful not to burn your hands. I then just form them into small egg shaped dumplings and drop them into boiling water. When they are done they will float to the top. I serve these with pork roast or chops..and kraut. I put browned butter on them and then some pork gravy. Yum sounds good and i wish i had soem now.
