Trip report: savannah, beaufort, charleston Elizabeths is a great place. My wife and I have been back four or five times over the last eight years (and we live in NJ). The Head Waiter took over a few years ago; but he has high standards. The food remains impecable. The dress is southern charming. Wear a jacket unless it is hard summer. It looks nicer and you can hang it on the back of your chair anyway. Get the oysters. |

I have read every post I could locate about the Cinque Terre. I will be traveling with my family from Tuscany to the Riviera and decided to take an overnight along the Cinque Terre. I would love to stay in a town to dine at a special restaurant. In all of the posts I have seen general good restaurants but nothing special. We travel to Italy regularly (once a year) and prefer great meals rather than the fanciest meals. My favorites are the special "locals only" restaurants and Tratorias. My wife speaks fluently and I speak enough to order my food and vino. If anyone has a recomendation, let me know. |

I am driving to Green Bay from chicago for the Game Sunday. Does anyone have recomendations for lunch/dinner/snacks worth a stop along the route from chicago? Do you have any recomendations for a place to eat before the game? After the game in and around Green Bay? The Stadium? Any help would be appreciated. |
