Burger .org opened in margate :)

Kosher Philadelphia restaurant with gluten free menu

I got to this late, but my nephews have celiac and they have been able to eat at Cherry Grill in Cherry Hill (right off I 95) - just ask them to specify - they even made one nephew fries with a different oil in a pan - worked out great.

Real kosher (lamb) bacon

I had it at Pardes

Miami/Bal Harbour food

Thai Treat, look up the address, absolutely elicious

Fran's Chicken Haven in Boca Raton, FL now KOSHER!

I went the night before pesach - they were obviously overwhelmed and ran out of french fries - but they were great with substitutions. I have to say the fried chicken was amazing. I had the white meat dinner and it was huge pieces (not like Kosher Delight). Will definitely be going back next time in Florida.

Restaurant Wedding (ceremony + reception) nyc or brookyln

you can't fit 50 people in Pardes

Sangria made with Kesser...is it possible?

over pesach i made it with white zinfandel and simple syrup. if you are using kesser i guess you can skip the syrup. i used oranges mango and strawberries and seltzer for those that wanted it.

Suggestions for a fruit dish and a pastry for a church brunch that would be reasonable for diabetics

may seem cheesy - but sugar free jello - cube it and put it on some kind of toothpick? It's refreshing and if you use sugar free whipped cream its amazing.

Burger.Org in Margate!!

this location is right next to the Young Israel!

Still haven't heard anything about the Cherry Hill location.

Freezing Cholent

the potatoes don't freeze so well, rest is fine.

Best Potato Kugel in Brooklyn?

Meisner's Avenue I between 29th and Nostrand. If you like really greasy Meal mart on avenue M

Kosher Spare ribs at Costco

I use the stuffed cabbage but add my own sauce and cook it for a really long time. It really makes it better.

dad need recipes

this is pretty trashy but I love it - take ground meat a can of baked beans and a can of potatoes cook it in a skillet.

dad need recipes

manwich? just throw in some ground beef or chicken with the sauce.
Chili can be simple
meatballs and spaghetti - you can do the sauce and meatballs in the crockpot (or pressure cooker)
If you have a pressure cooker - I do a great take of of "chicken in the oven" just throw everything in and (chop up veggies, and add some kind of tomato base) - this can also be done on the stove but the pressure cooker tastes much better.

Try the rachel rae 30 minute meals.

HK contestant shows up on Iron Chef America

One of the contestants from two (?) season's ago - Boris - works at the take out - catering dept. of a large kosher supermarket in Brooklyn. Took me a minute to recognize him .

Kosher Spare ribs at Costco

They are good but the 65 grams of fat deters me from buying them again.

Burger.org in Cherry Hill

yay!!!! Lets just hope the community supports it and the food stays great!!

Burger.org in Cherry Hill

well we live in Cherry Hill and don't have a grill! Also, some people don't "trust" Shoprite. Have you been to the East side? lots of young people there! I for one will gladly patronize them assuming the food and prices are good.

Burger.org in Cherry Hill

if this is true, best birthday present for me!!!

Birthday Dinner (Meat) Philadelphia/Cherry Hill

In laws don't want Cherry Grill - any other options?

best kosher caterer in nyc.....

gemstone

Dairy Birthday Cake

also, I believe the cheesecakes at omaha steaks are kosher

Dairy Birthday Cake

some costcos have a kosher bakery with very good dairy cakes - not sure about manhattan one. What about ice cream?

HAUNTING FOOD FROM PAST

there's a restaurant in Brooklyn called Kavkaz - I should check it out and see what they have!!

Kitchen Nightmares/HON Episode [split from Home Cooking]

my thought exactly! on almost every episode the waiters are so miserable. Is it really so hard to get another waitering job? Especially this place - it's Baltimore there are tons of other places to work!

New 'Menu Items That Need to Be Retired", 2012 edition...

lamb, sorry just done with it.

Participants on Food Media and News: Your Input Please

When it comes to Top Chef and other shows like it, it's a competition. These people are putting themselves out there and many times are displaying horrible traits. While the editing may have a lot to do with it - we feel the need to comment on the contestants' actions - it's a big part of the show and I bet many of the contestants don't care what we say - they are just happy to see their names on here!!

As for the personal bashing between posters - it's just ridiculous and yes, we should be allowed to flag them if it is consistent.

Do you have to pay for wedding caterers' tastings?

I'm getting married in June and when looking for places only one caterer was actually charging for a tasting (they were doing it as a group thing) for $40.00 per person. I didn't choose them for other reasons but I thought that amount of money for food you couldn't choose was a bit much. If I was asking the caterer to make me specific things I would be willing to pay a premium, but not going to pay that for generic offerings.

pardes restaurant in brooklyn

I was there last night too! (2nd time). We had the beef cheek pizza as an app - amazing! For the main I had the skirt steak and my fiance had the goose three ways - for dessert we had the carob ice cream - just phenomenal. Can't wait to go again!
