london-like Curry

Looking to bring someone (who can get himself anything) to a curry shop that rivals those of his London memories. Don't really care where it is, so long as it's good!

Please comment on my Miami restaurant choices

Michy's, Sardinia..and while you're at it going to MGFD, why not stop into the new Pacific Time in the Design District?

My Quest to try Every Cupcake in NYC

Agreed about the cookie/cupcake thing. I got a triple chocolate cupcake from dessert club (chikalicious' cousin across the street) and a chocolate chip cookie from Bird Bath (city bakery's cousin on 1st ave and 14th st) and the cookie by far won the baked good crave-test.

The Redhead- A new favorite place

Burger is AMAZING! One of the best. Second the fries for chips. The bacon peanut brittle...sending people there just for that!

Brunch: Prune? Schillers? Jane?

The bloody mary's are the best at Prune. What they should be and more.

Hearth or Lupa?

Always wanted to try Hearth when I lived in the city, but a friend recommended Lupa. I only have 2 dinners to eat, one at the Spotted Pig, the other at....any suggestions? No to outrageus prices, but yes to outrageous food. Preferably downtown.

One weekend - how many meals can I fit in?

Two Florida chowhounds looking for the best of...we'll be going to Spotted Pig one night, which leaves one more dinner and several lunches/snacks. We're pretty much staying in and around the downtown area and aren't looking for crazy expensive, big names, just solid food. Any thoughts on Hearth in the East Village?

Miami Brunch

Even though it's South Beach, it's enough off the beaten path: Talula. I believe it's on 23rd? Off of Collins.

NYC hounder coming for food&wine festival thinking Joe's for lunch, your rec's please

Try Sardinia on Purdy Avenue. It's just far enough off the main drag that you shouldn't find too much of a crowd. It's amazingly fresh, high quality, comfortable, affordable, and above all (something that's difficult to find in Miami) has a knowledgable and well-trained staff. They're open for lunch and for dinner.
