i bugged you all about places when my husband and i visited last week...here is what we thought...per lie was o.k....fun for first night...food just o.k....wanted veal and mushrooms that was on the website menu but not available at restaurant...went to cafe fiorello with friends and think we would have liked the food had we understood the menu...want to go back and eat the appetizers and sit at the bar...best dinner at mezzalunas on 3rd ave...great calamari, fusilli with sicilian tuna, bianca pizza and marscarpone dessert...can't wait to go back...thanks to all for your info and patience...d

star deli is the best every thing deli period...bread basket was good but nothing was/is as good as star still is...that includes the carnegie in nyc , which is certainly acceptable by any standard... zingermans is wonderful for many things...it is not a jewish style deli...it is an european deli...we buy a lot of stuff there, including chorizo and italian salami...it is not jewish style...however, at our last seder (we live in jackson) guests bought gefilte fish from zingermans and it was beyond wonderful...dee dee in jackson
