Saturday Brunch for 5 in Santa Monica/Beverly Hills/ Brentwood/West Hollywood
Looking for a brunch/lunch place for 5 - (in-laws + grandma) for a 35th birthday
We've thought of
-Farmshop
-Bouchon
-One Pico or Coast @Shutters
-Comme Ca
-Luques
-Tavern
-Geoffreys
Any thoughts of where is best? We've only been to Farmshop for brunch. Is there somewhere you've been (max = $30/per) that's out of this world?
Baby-friendly breakfast spot in Culver City or Beverly Hills
Going this weekend around 10am. Any ideas where is good that can accommodate a stroller and a 6 month old?
Thanks!
Rehersal Dinner Space in Beverly Hills
El Torito Grill max is about 60, but you may be able to work something out for the main dining room. They're really great to work with!
What about...
Maggiano's at The Grove
Asakuma
Napa Valley Grille
Palomino
Century Plaza Hyatt
Nate & Al's
Let me know what you end up with! We're looking for a rehearsal dinner too, somewhere the same part of town for about 50 people and El Torito Grill seems like the best bet so far!
Rehearsal Dinner in West LA Revisited
Trying to find a place about $30/person for a Saturday night in August--but still classy and sophisticated for a rehearsal dinner for 40 to 60 people. Wedding is at the Four Season on Doheny and are looking a place that can fit our budget with out sacrificing class. We're looking into the places below. Is there somewhere we're missing, and should look into?
El Torito Grill on Wilshire
Da Pasquale
Maggiano's at The Grove
The Farm on Beverly
We wanted to consider Beech Street in the Palisades but it might be too expensive...
Thanks so much!
reasonably priced sushi to impress the out-of-towners
How about Takao on San Vicente & Darlington? Recently tried it and am in love. Service is great, just need to make sure and make reservations, as it's a fairly small place. Nagao (San Vicente & 26th) is also good. Have also hear amazing things about Hamasaku on Santa Monica right before Sepulveda.

Anyone know a good place for an engagement party for about 50-60 people that wouldn't be too expensive per person? Thanks!
Weekend Brunch/Lunch Woodland Hills/Encino/Sherman Oaks
Looking for somewhere to meet friends, from out of town, for brunch/lunch this weekend in the Woodland Hills/Encino/Sherman Oaks area. I thought maybe Whispers. Any other ideas?
Lawrys Menu (for a non-red meat eater)
Am going to Lawrys tonight for dinner with my fiance and his mom and grandma; however, I don't eat red meat. Has anyone who doesn't eat red meat, eaten there before? What do you suggest to order?
Thanks!
Cheap Challah on the Westside
Best is definitely sold at San Vicente Foods. You can get some (average) in the bakery (back right corner of store) but the best is on the kosher baked goods stand/shelves right nearby to the bakery!
Dinner with Future In-Laws in Pasadena
Any recommendations for a reasonably priced dinner in Pasadena? We'll be checking out the Langham hotel beforehand, and would love a place to decompress afterwards that has a lot of food options, especially on the healthier side --his dad is pre-diabetic.
Thanks!!

Best Breakfast Santa Monica/Brentwood
Have two friends visiting from out-of-town this week and we're meeting up for a later breakfast. We're all students, so something on the cheaper side is preferable. Any thoughts on good places on Montana, Wilshire or Santa Monica?

Monday Night Dinner in Brentwood/Westwood
I'm meeting up with a group of my girl friends for dinner in Westwood/Brentwood and am looking for a place that's good and inexpensive but not a chain (like CPK). It also needs to have good parking since they're coming from the Valley. Any ideas?
