in search of... Tri Colored Desert - Vietnamese

Looking for this amazing layered desert I had in Minneapolis and wondering if it exists here in NYC.
3 delicious layers of sweetness:

1) Agar Agar jelly
2) sweet mung beans
3) sweet kidney beans

all served under a layer of shaved ice, coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk.

HELP!!

Any great muffins in Brooklyn?

I LOVE LOVE Blue Sky Bakery.
Best Muffins in Brooklyn hands down. fresh fruits, nuts, serious chocolate. very crispy muffin tops. If you come in over the weekend and get there as muffins are coming out of the oven, get a hot one, ask for a side of butter and you will be hooked. Plus, their coffee is strong and yummy.

Falafel

I am a big fan of Chickpea. one on St. Mark's place, on on 14th St by 3rd ave. Very fresh pita made on the spot! I have also gone in just to buy their pita. Love the falafel and the Shwarma is quite fresh and tasty too.

Pancakes!!

Been dreaming about pancakes. Where can I find your favorite, tasty, not too cakey, not dry, not bisquicky pancakes? I personally like them a little crispy on the outside... Any suggestions?
fresh fruit or compote topping would be an added bonus!

Any ideas? Fave hangouts? Thanks!

Park Slope FOOD COOP? Experiences?

I've been a member for the past 2 years. Try as I might, I can't help but love to shop there. The prices are unbeatable. the local, fresh produce and seasonal harvests are so diverse and have real FLAVOR! some critics think that the membership policies are a bit facist. Making up missed work-shifts is definitely irritating to say the least but if you are on top of your work (I am in the Food Prep division; bagging dried fruits and nuts, olives and cutting cheeses) the manual labor is a nice change from computer work.
I shopped at Blue Apron for some fancey cheese for a party. I spent a fortune on 4 cheeses that I later discovered in the co-op fridge for litteraly 1/2 the cost.
They introduce new cheeses as well as loose teas of the month.
If I ever move out of Brooklyn, I know that the co-op will be the one thing I will miss the most...
