The Great Buddha at Kotoku-in should not be missed, despite your aversion so temples, etc....

Out of this World.......

I've driven past a few times lately in the late afternoon and it didn't look like it was open. With little league having started just across the street, I think they'd be open if they were still in business.....

Rumors abound that Korean tacos are delicious.
Call me curious.

Looking for restaurant in Elizabeth, Newark area

Close to the airport in Elizabeth is Valenca, 665 Monroe Avenue, 908 354 2525. Excellent Portugese food. It too has 2 sides, a more formal restauarant and a bar with tables.

Best Japanese-Style Breakfast in Tokyo?

The Japanese restaurant on the top floor of the Tokyu Excel hotel in Shibuya serves a traditional Japanese breakfast - I stay there often, and enjoy it (and the view).
There's also a western style restaurant on the same floor, so be sure you go to the correct place

This was a very good idea Curlz, thank you.

Recommendations for good whole belly fried clams near Asbury Park, please.

Jody's on Route 35 in Neptune might also have them.....worth a call because it's closer to AP than Belmar, but other than a few stools Jody's is a takeout place (and an excellent fish market)

Is there no lobster salad in Monmouth Co.?

I think Jody's Fish Market in Neptune has it.

Where to bulk buy canning tomatoes?

Call Dreyer's Farm in Cranford and ask them
