Eastern NC Barbecue - Blackbeards
Finally made to Blackbeards C Food. Loved the people, service but the BBQ was pure mush. Too much H20 and little flavor. Ate my sandwich in the parking lot and the bottom bun was gone. I will go back again next month and try something different as I feel I just had a bad sandwich.

Bunn's in Windsor NC, great slaw unlike any I have had elsewhere in the state.

The Stamp Mill Cafe has opened up and I am hearing that they have excellent food. I will wander in today and see what I find!
Meadows of Dan/Floyd, VA recs needed
Tuggles Gap ( rt 8 and BRP ) Pine Tavern (Just North of Floyd on 221) and Morsette winery on BRP. There is also tastless grub at Mabery's Mill and lousy pizza down Rt 58.
Hillsville has a nice place in the old Nuckols Drug store but I can not think of the name.

After eating at most of these places I will take Bunn's in Windsor or all. The slaw is one of a kind sweet, musterdy and sour all at once.

I will be in South Myrtle Beach and am looking for some goos food suggestions. I like real seafood, Italian and anything interesting. I have heard that Murrell's Inlet has a few good restrurants. All suggestions will be appreciated.

Call the Black Pelican as they are one of the few year rounds in OBX. They may have a She-Soup.
Salisbury NC - birthday dinner
Melia's ( SP? ) on main street just past the square is fantastic. Chef Santos in the District just down the street ( one block south and left )is awesome. Or Buck's All America Grub on Ennis Street.
These are all within walking distance of Main and Innes Street.
Ribs in Greensboro?
I am going shopping in Gboro today and would love some Memphis style ribs. Any thoughts?
RO'S BBQ Gastonia NC Recommendation
I was in gastonia in 1980 and ate at a backwwods fish camp. Man it was great. I can not remember the name but it was out in the woods? Are these places still around?
