Odd question....
Hi all: My 2 regular beers are Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Ithaca Beer- Flower Power (very hoppy IPA). I have tried 20-30 IPA's and cannot drink them because they taste too sweet to me. I love Sierra but lately it is tasting too sweet. The honey taste that many beers have makes me nauseous.
So the odd question--does anyone know of a nice hoppy IPA or PA that is less sweet then Sierra?

Yes, the unfiltered Flower Power is wonderful. Gateway had it for quite a while but I am not sure if what is on tap there now is filtered or not. Had some last night down there......yum, can taste it now. :-)

Hi: A professor I work for just came back from Madagascar and brought me a bag of delicious smelling vanilla beans. I am looking for ideas of how to use them. I know they can be used in baking, sauces, etc but would like some tried and true recipes. Thanks! Jen

Italian dinner menu: need sides ideas
Hi all: I am making pasta bolognase for a few people on saturday night. I am going to have bread, caprese salad, tapenade- all pre meal with drinks.
What would go well with the pasta? I was thinking of roasted asparagus or another veggie. All ideas appreciated.

Not sure about Rochester but my Wegmans, in Ithaca, just opened a big beer section with tons of microbrews. It is really nice! Good luck
