Waffle House is the best place for omlettes...especially ham and cheese. It;s the best deal for the money.

I don't know about the Boston Ruth's Chris but I have eaten at the ones in Atlanta and absolutely love them. I have never had any problem with the filets. The halibut is wonderful also. I prefer the sauteed spinach. The crabtini is a winner. The severs are very knowledgeable. I usually have no room for dessert but sometimes I split the dense chocolate cake. I was told they use Calbaut Belgian chocolate. Sinfully rich but worth the calories! French press coffee to top it off.

I eat at the Ruth's in Atlanta and find it excellent. The food is cooked perfectly and the portions are huge. The service is always inpeccable and I always feel welcomed.

BBQ Kitchen near the Atlanta airport has a great breakfast. Good country ham and biscuits.

Ruth's Chris Steak House downtown or Buckhead have a great and reasonalbly priced lunch. They have the wonderful steaks plus large salads and hamburgers. The downtown one is in the Emabassy Suites at Centennial Park steps from the Aquarium. The Buckhead location is on East Paces Ferry Road a couple of blocks from Lenox Road

Marigny Cafe in Marigny is excellent. Clancy's on Webster is great especially their smoked soft shell crabs and oyster and Brie appetizer. GW Finn's has interesting seafood offerings. For Italian, Vinvent's on St. Charles and Fern is wonderful plus they have excellent seafood dishes. It's always crowded.

A good restaurant for a nice dark roux gumbo is Atchafalaya Cafe.

R & O's restaurant on Hammond Highway at the Lake has a good muff.

The best King Cake is at Randazzo's in Metairie near Lakeside Shopping Center. They are opened only Christmas through Mardi Gras. Another good choice is Antoine's who sice Katrina have moved to the West Bank. If you want a true French King Cake Galette de Rois-Le Boulangerie Bakery on Magazine is the ticket.

Friday night I had a great vegetable platter at Atchafalaya Cafe on Louisiana and Annunciation. It is not a vegetarian restaurant but had those options. It is very quaint and the food is good.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Atlanta is great. There is one in the downtown area, Buckhead and Sandy Springs. The food is always good and you can't beat the locations. The Buckhead one has a great bar to eat in also.
