Kosher in Andalucia (Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba...)

Does anyone out there have any information or recommendations for kosher restaurants (other than vegetarian) in Andalusia -- particularly in, near or between Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Jerez, Cadiz and Malaga?

Kosher Andalucia (Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba...)

Thanks, Gila. When were you there? Did you find any Jewish cultural sites around there?

Fairway coming to Pelham in late 2009!

None of those are competition for Fairway.

Which restaurant has the best bread basket in the westchester area?

Someone here will scream, but City Limits Dimer offers a nice variety of very good breads.

Coming to Hartsdale Mexican Restaurant

Not the same. See post at http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/6653....

Is this a retail shop or just through third party stores and farmers markets?

Pierogies - Yonkers?

Can we assume you are speaking of Polish Deli not Yonkers Miasarnia?

Announcement: New Board Breakdown for Chowhound

Is anyone inside Chow.com reading this stuff?

Pierogies - Yonkers?

Could it be Yonkers Miasarnia, 39 Lockwood Avenue, or Polish Deli, 225 Nepperhan Ave.?

Brunch options - lower Westchester?

City Limits Diner -- not a diner but a casual upscale restaurant -- has great food at reasonable prices in a bright environment. Service is sometimes spotty, but this is a great brunch, lunch or dinner spot, as many other regulars on this board have attested.

Frankie & Fanucci’s-Hartsdale (ex-Lias's location)

Plain isn't AA's forte. Try the prosciutto and potato or another unique specialty slice.

Frank Pepe's

Had a couple of white clam pies last week -- one with bacon and one "kosher" without bacon. Both were amazingly good -- worthy of the original on Wooster Street and worth a serious detour. Beer selection is small but classy, too.

Jade Garden Hartsdale, any info?

Not to mention inane.

ISO Hartsdale NY (Central Ave) Brunch Recommendations

Spiga ain't bad... but neither it not Candlelight are "Brunch-y": Casa Maya is non-Chowish -- very gringo and greasy. Pere's isn't a brunch place, either, but ohhhhh that white clam pie!

ISO Hartsdale NY (Central Ave) Brunch Recommendations

Agreed. There are some terrific AUTHENTIC Mexican places in White Plains; search the archive board for info.

NYC-esque prices, that is.

And where might this be?

Caffe Azzurri, Hartsdale?

This has been open for several weeks, but not a single post... Is this because no 'Hounds have been, or because we're all annoyed with the new board structure?

Great... so they "improved" it by taking away Fairfield County, but didn't fix the real issue -- upstate lumped in with NYC suburbs. Demi is correct.

Buffalo, Brookhaven and Bronxville on the same board? That is INSANE.

Long time, no posts on Zihua... anything Chowish there?

Thank you for the update.

I hope you'll reconsider your reticence and tell us which places to avoid.

Parisienne Bakery in Hartsdale

Central Square/Montparnasse is supposed to become a Walgreen's, as mentioned previously in this thread.

Looking for a good, sort of cheap restaurant for a friends birthday get together in Westchester(White Plains)

Spiga has good food, served family style, a fun atmosphere that will tolerate your noise, and if you stay away from the veal and seafood dishes should be in your budget range.

Many restaurants do not allow Open Table to book large parties in prime hours -- or at all. Do call.
Nice jeans would be fine at X2O, which would likely be my choice. Blue Hill will accommodate vegetarianism or any other personal preferences on tasting menu.

Various Veracruzes in Vestchester

Agree with your point on Cancun Delights, but even absent any regional cuisine it's still mighty good chow. I especially like the carnitas with a side of plaintains.

Drove past Veracruz II for the first time yesterday and wondering whether I should add it (along with Sunshine Deli) to my tasting agenda.
