Best updated cheap eats in RI
Hi everyone,
Visiting RI and looking for great current cheap eats. Any suggestions for just really good food and no frills. Best breakfast, Best Mexican, Best lobster roll/seafood and Italian are big hits. I go to RI every year and have been curious about Mike's kitchen but we never seem to motivate. Is it worth it? Any help would be great. thanks in advance.

Please help. We are driving from San Francisco to Palm Springs over the new year. staying 1 night in Big Sur and I night in Solvang on the way to Palm Springs. We plan to drive highway 101/rt 1 until solvang. Also any help in PS would be great as friends are not into food. Trying to avoid usual chains, etc. Looking for recommendations for inexpensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots along the way. Are there any food highlights and/or must eats along the way? Detours are welcome and All help is appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you so much for all your responses. Based on your suggestions, after reading various posts, I have been considering a place near the arch and rue poncelet. We stayed near rue cler on a previous visit. I really enjoy walking through the market but would like an area that is a little more lively. I will look in the 3rd as well. Does anyone have any current recommendations for great neighborhood food walking tours? Anything behind the scenes? all help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks again.

We plan on visiting Paris next october/nov and renting an apartment for 10 days. I have been reading many posts but was hoping for some help. Trying to decide which neighborhoods are best all around for food. All food. bakeries, open markets, chocolates, restaurants, market streets, food shops, and stores, etc. I love paris for both food and architecture. The architecture distracts me just long enough to stop thinking about where to eat next. My plan is to walk and eat. Any suggestions and help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Does anybody have any recs for Christmas eve and Day Dining? The christmas day brunch at the pennisula is $128 per person and the Four Seasons is Sold out. Regardless, These are a little out of my price range. please help. It could be brunch or dinner.
