Where to buy sub rolls?
thanks! I've been meaning to check that place out anyway. On it.
Where to buy sub rolls?
I am looking for long, soft, sub buns in LA. I've checked out the usual spots and can only find so-called french rolls or hot dog buns (or crusty Bay Cities bread). I'm looking for something long, wide, and soft (classic sub style). Any advice? I don't mind driving but I'm located in the West Hollywood area.
Thanks for the help!
sweet lady jane- incredibly rude!
I'll 56th that! The cakes and Jane are nasty. I've never understood the cult following, I've only been twice but being treated like dirt and eating a pound of horrible food coloring was more then enough to turn me off for life. Susina, Boule, MILK, even Toast, the neighborhood has so many better dessert options.
Lunch Near Griffith Observatory
The Trail cafe in Griffith Park, just inside the park from the entrance closer to Western, is one of my favorite places in the city. It's small, but they make everything themselves. It's creative, super fresh, and tasty. Plus it's still like a picnic!
Very Unique Experience in Los Angeles
Brunch at the Getty Center is gorgeous on the patio. The food was great last time I was there and you have one of the best views in the city.
Thee's Princess Cake...did anyone else notice something funny?
When butter goes off it smells just like brie. I've never eaten it like that but that might be the culprit. I don't think it's really bad to eat "off" butter, it's probably just turning into pretty rich cheese.

- La Playita: My favorite Mexican food in LA. (blue shack, no seating, too far to walk from your hotel) 3306 Lincoln Blvd
