i am looking for a casual seafood spot in Santa cruz. My group will be spending time on the boardwalk, and I was looking for a non-tourist trap place where the locals go to eat seafood. I do not mind going off of the boardwalk, and walking distance would be perfect.

I will be out with another couple tonight in north beach, and we are looking for an inexpensive place to have non Italian food. Ethnic food is ok, and popular places with a bar are great too since there will be a few drinkers in the group.

Best pizza on the peninsula?
When they say ny style pizza, they are referring to a thin crust pizza. As for rays in nyc, there is the "first" rays on spring street which is thin and delicious. Not to be confused with copycat names with the word original in them.

there is a huge asian market in Edgewater NJ, and they sell fresh wasabi. It is very expensive though. About $30 for a 4 inch piece.

i am looking for a good bowl of pho, but i cant seem to find any vietnamese restaurants in the area.
Best Tequilla Not Available Outside Mexico
when i was in cabo last year, i stumbled across a tequila caled clasa azul in a white and yellow ceramic bottle with a pewter top. it is aged in cherry oak barrels, and has a sweet finish. definitley not the "best", but it is really something different and inexpensive. it is ard to find though.
Milagro tequila
milagros is a "decent" example of an anejo. i paid $40 for a bottle of it about two weeks ago, so you are getting a bargain. it is a pretty smooth anejo with mellow flavors of vanilla and slight hint of oak. i am pretty sure that if it says 100% agave, then it should be. also, this is the furthest thing from gin.

I agree. Poultry Time is delicious, and The Bayou in Mt. Vernon has amazing fried chicken as well and all around great food.

Ichi Riki Sushi in Elmsford is excellent. They have been around for almost 20 years. Always fresh, and pleasant staff.
