Need Sushi Recommendation

Hi, I'm looking for some recommendations on a good sushi restaurant that's reasonably priced, reliable in quality, and has an intimate atmosphere where tables aren't on top of each other. Any part of town would be fine, especially Chelsea, Upper East or Westside, East or West Village, SOHO... This is for a Tuesday night. Much thanks!

Where to get Lobster today?

Hi, I'm in Queens and looking to devour a simple steamed lobster in the 2 lb range, today! I know of the place in Red Hook and The Lobster Joint in Greenpoint, but both are closed on Mondays. Other than me steaming or broiling my own (which I may end up doing), what are the options? If you've been to Jordan's or Nick's in BK, are they still a viable option? Thanks...

Hi, I'm going on a first meet 'n greet tonight and we'd like to find a place in LIC. Somewhere with a nice bar, maybe some food (but not the main thing), and a calmer, nice atmosphere. You know, the kind of place where you can find a corner to talk in and order drinks.... Much thanks!

Looking for Good or Decent Indian on 6th St

Hi, I'm such a fan of Indian food, and I'm used to pretty authentic stuff in Queens (Flushing and JH), so to ask for something on 6th St. is kinda alien to me....BUT, I'm going out with a friend in that area and she asked for Indian on that street, or very close. Any recommendations? I heard that Banjara and Brick House were both good, but seem a bit pricey...thoughts?

DiFara's Closed by DOH, where can a pizza-lover go?!

Yes, I heard it this morning on NPR....the DOH has closed DiFara's yet again! So, the question I have is, where now? I have read the reviews on Totonno's, Nick's, Dee's, Una Pizza, etc.... but who puts fresh oregano, basil and ground parmesan on the pizza while it's pippin' hot I ask you?! Actually, can anyone in the area confirm that this bad news is actually true? thanks

Difara's on the weekend

Because it's Easter Sunday I'm thinking he's closed. Tried to call, but we all know you can't get through anyway....it was busy. Anyone know if he's there today? Much thanks!

Need First Date Location in ASTORIA....Bar / Resturant

Hi, I'm looking for a relatively laid back, not-super-loud, moderately priced bar/restaurant in Astoria for a first date.
