How to cut an onion? Say it ain't so!
I'm now wondering what the intended demographic group is for this site. We laugh at home every time some TV "chef" shows the viewing audience how to cut an onion (about 3 times per week, on average). Realizing that not everyone has good knifing skills, I'm still amazed that this feature was included on this site. Please pardon my astonishment, but I wonder what's next...how to butter bread? Am I outside the demographic? If so, I'll quietly fold my tent and move away.
Photos look like a crime scene!
Maybe it's a style I am too old and stodgy to appreciate, but the photos of the "Killer Apps" were downright unappealing! Looks like Weegee tried his hand at food photography instead of crime scenes. I know how difficult food photography is (I teach photography), but these just turned me off.There are many others on the site that look good, it was just this batch I disliked.
