Best meal I ever ate:
A little Italian place on Clark just North of Francis Parker... no longer around. The waiter said,"The chef just got back from three months in Italy this morning and feels like cooking. You can order off the menu, or he can cook for you." He made eighteen dishes!
My current drink of choice:
Tequilla, but I like to pronounce it like Vivien Merchant did in Hitchcock's "Frenzy" She was the Chief Inspector's wife who was taking "Gourmet" cooking lessons!
I really wish I could:
Understand why Al's is popular... why does giadiniera get to mask beef but a tasty BBQ sauce ruins ribs? One way or the other people...
