Toronto-Best Chinese Soup Dumplings

I walk by a new place after having a dinner at Sneaky Dee 2 weeks ago, they offer us some dumpling for sampling. My friend/boss who is a chinese talk to the owner/chef and he confirmed that they are serving Shanghai cuisine. I am not a dumpling lover and can't comment on that but I know they made it fresh.

dim sum at Yang's- delish!

I like go there for lunch but not dinner. Their dim sum is among the best in town.
Last time I went with my friend for dinner, we order a chicken dish which is ice cold. Most asian resto serve this dish in room tempeture. The most impressed dish is the seafood fried rice, a lot of different kind of seafood but the taste of uni is a bit off. $38? a fried rice? Should be a lot better, right?

Where to buy Thai ingredients?:North GTA -Markham/Aurora

It is very easy to pick them up at Dundas & Spadina area.

Vegetarian restaurants in Toronto?

There is one beside Sneaky Dee, previous Tea Shop 168, serving veg dishes as wells. I try their veg. dumpling is very delicious. Also their cooked peanut is amazing. I got it for free as a side dish. The price is very reasonable as wells. The only thing is a very weird decor.

Lai Toh Heen: Dinner?

Peking duck is very good but a lot of places offer the same quality with less expenses. I would say a high-end place for chinese food, if you consider service, decor, food presentation, it worths the money you paid.
I would say I am not into their taste, either salty or overwhelm by single ingredient.
Oh, the last thing I recommend is their seafood fried rice, one of the best I ever try in TO.

Finch & Midland

You can forget the BBQ place, If I went to that plaza, I will only go to Vietnamese Star Noodles or Sun Noodle. Dumpling place is so so, Chinese western one is no good, sushi place is bad.
Oh, the one at the corner serving dim sum is not bad, been there once and I am impressed with their value and quality. Worth to repeat.

No traffic but good food restaurant

I am so exciting finding a food review broad like this. I try to read as many thread as possible and drop a long To-Eat-List. I would like to ask everyone in the broad whether you have one or two go-to restaurant which is not much traffic but they do serve good food or at least they attempt to.

I found sometimes restaurant without many people go in not because the food or services, is the decor and the reno. Can you imagine Coffee Time serving a very good fried rice?

Another reason I think is location. I do have couple restaurant they do serve very delicious food but no many know it. I would like to check your suggestion before I disclose them.

Best All You Can Eat Japanese in Toronto GTA

I have try a new place on Bloor street, just east of bathrust on the north side of bloor, cant remember the name, their price is around $13.- for basic adding $4 for extra items during weekday.
Not many selection on sashimi but a lot of choices for maki rolls. They taste really good and the protion of rice and raw fish is just right . I special love the butter fish maki roll. If you just order the basic AYCE menu, I found it is the best value in downtown.

Where to buy delicious mango mousse cake?

They both taste good but Maxim is better in presentation, Queen is better in price if my memory right.

Good wings in North York!! Is that true?!!

I try both F&H and PNW wings, I found F&H is much better in term of quality and prices.
