Coffee and wi fi in Arlington?

Greenberry's Coffee on Wilson has good coffee, lots of tables, and free wi fi. It does get pretty crowded though.

Consumer-friendly restaurant supply store in DC metro area?

I'm looking for a consumer-friendly restaurant supply store in the DC metro area, ideally in DC or NoVa but am willing to travel to Baltimore if the store is really good. I used to live in Los Angeles, where I loved going to Surfas (http://www.surfasonline.com/) even if to just look around. I'm not looking for machinery, just home cooking and baking (and serving) needs. Thank you!

bubble tea near farragut

Try Teaism on H and Connecticut. Fairly certain they have bubble tea.

3 Arlington Restaurants: Tandoori Nights, Earl's Sandwiches, & Piola

Thanks for the reviews! I am also a fan a Earl's Sandwiches. The fresh roasted turkey is just as good as my grandmother's Thanksgiving birds.

My last visit I had the soup of the day, Cream of Mushroom. (Or some creamy mushroom soup, it might have been called Wild Mushroom or something of the like.) I was disappointed. I found it to be lacking in flavor, and way to creamy. In fact, I felt as thought all I could taste was the cream.

I'll stick to sandwiches from now on, or try other soups. But Earl's is definetely a favorite of mine.

Also, is Piola a chain?

Barefoot Contessa Choc. Cupcake w/ P.B. Frosting Recipe Help

In Ina Garten's newest cookbook (B.C. at Home), there is a recipe I tried for Chocolate Cupcakes. Has anyone tried it? I made it yesterday and followed the recipe to the T. I even bought a dozen extra large eggs! Now I'm not baker, but I am capable of following baking recipes pretty well. The cupcakes were the DRIEST things I've ever tasted. Crumbly, very cocoa-y tasting, and just all around DRY. Is there something wrong with the recipe, or is it me???

Vegan Mail-Order/Gift Ideas

I am hoping to get some suggestions from vegans (or informed non-vegans alike!) for good Christmas gift suggestions for a vegan family member. Usually we send cheese, bread, chocolates, etc., but since we recently learned that he is a vegan, we have to change our gift giving habits a bit.

Usually we spend around $100 or a little less. Suggestions are greatly appreciated!
