My upcoming theme for our gourmet group is "Farm to Table"- I am in charge of the main course and feeling a little unsure. Does anyone know where I can get locally-raised beef or poultry? Ideally at a Farmer's Market (in LA area- not Pasadena if possible- too far!) PLEASE REPLY with any suggestions, I am stumped.

I am making Gordon Ramsay's Cauliflower and Sorrel (with caviar no less) soup for my gourmet club this evening. Waited until today to get the Sorrel and CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE! Any suggestions? I have searched all Bristol Farms, Whole Foods and Gelsons. Is there any substitute? the bummer of it all is I only need a little bit (my guess is it is potent stuff- it is the garnish, but is important enough to be included in Chef Ramsay's title of the dish.

Is this a good spot to purchase fresh seafood? I drove by it and it seems like it could be a good find. Any comments? thanks

where can i take an out of towner for a drink- maybe santa monica or downtown? I love Rivera- which I will do unless someone has another great idea! thank you.
