Review of my Vegas trip

sounds like you better stick to the convention food?

An unexpectedly good pizza @ Dal Toro (Palazzo)

we stayed at palazzo in November and we had the same pizza. i second that pizza! really good and a great place to get away from the crowds.

pepe's "sorry no clams" question

i've had the same problem in manchester. im a restaurant person and i dont get it. you could order clams a week in advance and they would be ok iced.either there is a problem with whoever orders or they want to sell their other pizzas. either way,,,when you do get one they are delicious!!

Trip Report

liz i have to second your two reviews. we were in vegas in october and totally loved the e so much better that carnavino. we stayed at the palazzo and heard great things but we had two cold apps, one hot app and shared the $140 rib-eye that wasn't really very tender or flavorful. highly recommend e and stay away from carnavino.

Foxwoods or MGM steakhouse decision?

without a doubt go to craft steak! much better than ceders and prime i don't think has lived up to the hype. eaten at both and craft is really the way to go. don't worry about dress code, you can dress casual at craft without a problem. enjoy!
