Chicken and Waffles?
This is a pretty random question...I've noticed a number of Fried Chicken & Waffle dishes highlighted on various Food Network shows. I'm intrigued. Are there any places in the DC Area (NoVa specifically) that make this well?
Vargas Restaurant?
I recently made reservations for a bachelor party (14 people) at Vargas Restaurant. I haven't seen it mentioned on this board at all...is it any good? Should I reconsider? We got a prix fixe for $50...good deal?
Steakhouse for Bachelor Party
Looking for a steakhouse to take 14-15 people for a bachelor party. Prefer walking distance from Best Western Hotel Europa but not mandatory. With this many people would like to make the bill as easy as possible (prix fixe, if possible, or a party menu). Want a laid back steakhouse where a group this big can sit for a few hours and get drunk before going out while eating good food. Would prefer to keep it to $100 per person including drinks (figure entrees ~$25 or less, or full prix fixe menu for $45 or under). Would like a jovial atmosphere for steaks and drinking. Thanks!
