High Tea - London
I'd recommend The Lanesborough Hotel for high tea. Certainly on the pricier side but it is well worth it. Wonderful food and tea, great atmosphere and service, and in a beautiful location.

Whenever I'm in London I try to stop by here for a relaxing afternoon escape. You won't regret it. Also, it's my mother's favourite.
Upscale Saturday Lunch? - Recommendations
Hi, so my parents are coming into town for lunch on a saturday and are looking for an upscale restaurant to eat at for a party of 4-5. The problem I'm having is that many of my favorite and most highly recommended restaurants are closed for lunch on the weekends (or all week at lunch). Any recommendations for great upscale dinner-like menus that are open for lunch on a saturday? They're preferably looking for French but not exclusively. Not looking for italian or tex-mex.
Most importantly, we're looking for great food, great service and a comfortable/upscale atmosphere.
Appreciate all your help.
Austin Coffee/Drink Hangouts
So I've been living in Austin for the last few years and am looking for new hangout spots to try out. Generally looking for places to meet friends for coffee or drinks that are a little different. Something in the vain of Spider House, Thunderbird, Cafe Medici, or Mozart's. Any cool new places sprung up recently or relatively unknown? All suggestions are much appreciated.
Late night dining - help.
So more often then I like I find myself getting home relatively late and hungry, but when it comes to finding a reasonably tasty place to eat that's open late, I'm at a loss. As is the case for tonight and the prompt for me to write this post. I live in the soco area so would prefer suggestions that are not too far away but don't let that stop you from posting ideas because I'm sure that there are many other hounds out there with my same problem.
So yea, late night spots that are tasty - let me know.
Thanks!
Who's got whoopie pies?
Domincan Joe's at the corner of South Congress and Riverside sells them but they're $4 a piece. Haven't tried them but they look delicious if not over priced.
