Brown rice restaurants for dinner

I'm looking for recommendations for dinner tonight for a place that serves brown rice. Something that is suitable for five girls going out for dinner.

Fresh fruit juices in Boqueria Market Barcelona

When you go to the market in Barcelona everyone has rows and rows of these fruit juices that claim to be just one or two fruits mixed together with nothing added. Is this true? Does anyone know how to make fruit juices exactly the same way they sell them in the market?

Non-Spanish food in Madrid

Circus Let's Noodle in Chueca is great for Asian cuisine and very inexpensive.

Lunch recs (to-go) around times square (42 st at Broadway)

I work in times square at 42nd and Broadway and find myself frequently visiting places like Chipotle and Europa because I really can't find anything good within walking distance. It has to be stuff I can have bagged and take back to the office. Also, it wouldn't hurt if it was well priced. Thank you in advance!

Trader Joe's frozen Butter Chicken

I actually know the guy who makes most of the Indian products (the one's made in Canada) and I can definitely vouch for his authentic recipes. He's also very particular about quality and really does a good job in all the product categories he's in.

Yeah exactly! Where can I find a latin grocer close to me? I live downtown beside Concordia University. Thanks!

Moving to NYC: where can I get..

What. Please tell me there is a way to get in. I went to the moon and back when I found out there's one in the the city.

I'll be paying NYU freshmen to get my food for me.

Moving to NYC: where can I get..

I will definitely have to check it out and report back with my comparisons to the authentic stuff.

Mile End is a great area in Montreal where you get fantastic food, so I'm sure they have their minds pointed in the right direct. It looks like a good project.

Moving to NYC: where can I get..

I am absolutely ecstatic over the fact that there is a chic fil a in NYC. My lunch. Everyday.

Spicy?

Lucas: Mexican seasoning

In Mexico you can find this seasoning called Lucas all over the place. It's this spicy or salty seasoning that comes in a small container and you put it on everything! Meat, fruits, vegetables, etc. It's great. Anybody know where I can find it in Montreal? Maybe a Mexican grocery store I haven't heard of? Thanks!

So there's really no luck with the Portuguese chicken in Manhattan then? Nando's is a pretty good reference but is still far from authentic. I'm looking for something like this: http://mymontrealresto.blogspot.com/2006/05/rotisserie-romados.html

Moving to NYC: where can I get..

Thanks for the warm welcome and all the responses. Looking forward to some fantastic eats.

Moving to NYC: where can I get..

I'm moving to SoHo in August from Montreal. Of course coming from Montreal I'm huge on trying different types of good food and I'm looking forward to some adventures in NYC. But I need to know where I can find items from my staple diet.

Vietnamese subs (Banh Mi)

Korean BBQ (Where they bring you raw meat and you grill it on the table yourself)

Pizza by the slice (Cheap and great)

Tacos (Simple beef, lettuce, and cheese)

Vietnamese grilled beef and vermicelli

Good cheap burger joint

Something similar to chick-fil-a?

Grilled portuguese chicken (usually breast, salad, and fries for around $7)

Thanks in advance!

And if you have any other suggestions please feel free.

Antep Kabab: 1626 Maisonneuve

Yeah it's right off guy beside the double pizza, on the south side of the street. Across it is a Starbucks, Quiznos, and Al Taib Grillade place.

Antep Kabab: 1626 Maisonneuve

Yeah sorry I forgot to mention it did take a really long time to get our food. Maybe fifteen/twenty minutes. There were three people working in the back. The staff were very friendly though.

Antep Kabab: 1626 Maisonneuve

My girlfriend and I just got back from this new Turkish place and I have to say we were both thoroughly impressed by the food there. We ordered a mixed plate of beef and chicken kabobs which also came with salad, couscous, onions, and most importantly: bread. The bread is the main thing at this joint and their sandwiches looked to die for (I really regret not getting one). It's that type of bread you just look at and you know it's good.

The kabobs were great (better than Chateau Kabob) but the salad was nothing special. Couscous was a nice substitution to rice.

Back to the bread. It was fabulous! All fresh made in their own oven (which looked like a pizza oven to me). I will definitely be stopping by in the near future to grab one of the four or five sandwiches (VERY small menu, maybe ten items).

The plate was $12, and the sandwiches are all $5.

Fino restaurant and gourmet shop

I live right opposite the place and I have to stay it's one of my favorite places for take out. The breakfast sandwich is also fantastic. The gourmet grocery store upstairs includes different types of luxury coffee and Guzzini products as well.

It's really not as expensive as you might think though. I agree that it's mid-low high.

Colored/flavored popsicles

The dep in my building has banana ones and a lot of other flavors. 3445 cote des negies. Corner of guy and sherbrooke

'Non-authentic' chinese wanted

No sorry, but if you head there you won't miss it. The sign is green and the address is 1522 maisonnueve (I would assume, because the copy place next door is 1520 maisonnueve).

When I walk by tomorrow I'll take note of the name and post it.
