Low-acid food recipes

Have a friend with cancer who needs some low-acid meal planning done. Hoping someone out there has gone down this road before and can provide some good recipes.
Thank you.

Moderate and Casual Near the Airport

Never had a bad meal at Cafe Figaro on Broadway in Burlingame. Zen bistro in Millbrae for gucci (not traditional) sushi. Fook Yuen in Millbrae seems better than HK Flower Lounge. Ramen Club in Burlingame.

NYC foodies - must eats in SF

I'd hit the Palace Hotel for Brunch.

As for dinner....Gary Danko, Ame....Acquerello is still my favorite. No need to drive to Berkeley. Apparently I'm the only one who wasn't impressed with Slanted Door.

Burlingame and environs

Lure and Viognier in San Mateo. Done.

Banquet on a budget in San Mateo County

Wondering if anyone knows a good place to throw a banquet for 150 people. Trying to stay in the $40/pp range for dinner and the room. Prefer to be in Burlingame/San Mateo/Foster City/Belmont/San Carlos. Could be a hotel or restaurant or community center with a good caterer in tow.
Thanks.

David Paul's Island Grill?

Shady appears to be an understatement. Based on my quick research - same name, same exact logo, same menu item (Triple Berry Pie - although early reviews are the version at Lahaina Grill is better), "there's only one David Paul's" slogan. Wow - if you've got to copy everything at a proven winner to keep yourself alive, that's sad. I'll pass.
