Brunch recommendation needed near Grand Central

Midtown/Murry Hill area is NOT one of my favorite areas for Brunch - you could do Artisanal - not a great place, but serviceable for that area. A short cab ride would open things up a little as far as options.

prune: downhill alert?

Bad news - I so love the bone marrow there.

Blazer and Jeans @ Per Se

yup - you do

Calm down Mr. Balckwell

I have been to Per Se a couple of times and could not remember if I have seen anyone in blazer/jeans or not. I am dining with friends and wanted to give them correct info.

Casual Steakhouse

You have ALOT of choices in Manhattan. I echo the the sentiment about Keens (the pipes on the ceiling are awesome) and the Lincoln Oysters are a great throwback.

I would also throw Strip House into the mix - I dont know if I would say its casual, but a jacket is not required.

Casual Steakhouse

Good Luck on getting a reservation after 7 PM or even seating @ the bar after 7 PM (a hostess stands outside and doesnt let anyone in without a resy during prime hours to the bar)

The place is very small..I believe about ~15 tables total and a resy is pretty rough right now.

Blazer and Jeans @ Per Se

Is this a no-no @ Per Se?
