Well, my GF and I went to Japonais last night and it is definitely not for kids. The food was excellent though, except for the kobe carpaccio.

I don't know how good of a deal many of these tasting menus are, but the deal at the Mirage Japonais restaurant in the lounge from 5-8pm daily--- a 3-course meal for two people at $45 (total)---seems like a great deal.
