Restuarants to visit before you die

In the Sunday Times UK recently , the 30 best restuarants to visit before you die , interestingly the 1st was a pasta place in Scicilly ITALY , the second France somewhere , and the 3rd AMAZINGLY was Paella , but not in Valancia !! its actually in Marbella (Costa Del Sol ) so being in the Marbella area , i rushed to visit , with some more gourmet seeking freinds , it was a blistering hot Sunday afternoon , i called the restuarant , need a table for 8 pm , yes sir no problem . I had to sit down , as normally you get the 3 week wait scenario , anyway eventually found it , in West Marbella ,at a place on the beach called San Pedro , it was probabally the first ever beach club on the coast , very Spainish , and looked very 1950s , you could imagine Liz Talor , Frank Sinatra and the cool crowd in there , along side the pool , the restaurant overlooking the sea inside or out side , was typical Spainish, white table clothes , spainish classic old school tables , and a good feel about it , the staff fantastic , we sat down and all decided on the Paella , wait for it !!! all sold out ... gutted !!

No problem my wife said ill have the fish , and every one else ordered the from the fish menu , i have to say cooked to perfection all the plates were perfect the monk fish , the sole , the red mullet , and so on , so i guess the Paella will also be as decribed in the Sunday Times , i will let you know im back this week on wed evening ,,, Watch this space ... Wolf Range (48 inch)--questions, and is it worth it?

I have a 48" in the uk ,,,resi Model Duel fuel 4 burner , plancha and BBQ rack , i have small kids , and theres not a problem , it blows warm air around the bottom of the cooker underneath the ovens .. but no hot spots for accidents on the oven doors or front of cooker ,,

While we are on , thers no cleaning companies in the UK for pro cleaning them is there here in the states ???

If you like Indian food , theres only one thats cuts above the rest ,in my eyes anyway , it the STAR OF INDIA on the Brompton road , run by the REZA and team , excellent .
The Blubird on the Kings rd , is v good , and Racines in Knightsbridge , is v,good
the riverside cafe in Hammersmith 5 star, and as you are chow foodies one little secret italian , run by Pietro ,in the Nottinghill area , and this is secret ,, its called Assaggi you need to call for a res early like weeks , if you get a prob with this e mail me .

I stay in Marbella for the summer ,, Messina is like heaven , i eat there regualy , and all though its upmarket the staff and food are fantastic , and its very casual , you dont have to get dressed up , but you can for special occasions ,, the pasta is to die for ..
i havnt been to Calima yet but i will , and report in .
