Traveling to Healdsburg in mid-October with 5 dear friends and spending only one night. Would like suggestions of where to have lunch, dinner, and best wineries. THANK YOU!

was there last week and sent two dishes back. the cod which although cooked sous vide - was raw and looked horrific and the steak frites which although "juliette" cut which i still have not been able to find a description of anywhere - was inedible due to the amount of fat and grizzle hanging off the meat.

Looking for chili recipes!

Hi - searching for a recipe for chili from the ski resorts. after a tough day of skiing my favorite thing is to have chili and a beer. but with 4 or 5 good chili recipes - nothing i have can imitate that. if you have skied in the northeast - and had chili - youll know what i mean. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Chili - like the ski resorts make?

I love chili. I have a number of really great chili recipes - with beans, without beans, turkey chili with white beans, etc. But I've never been able to recreate the chili that I get when I go skiiing. Maybe it's out of a can - and that's why. It's great. If you ski in the northeast - you know what I'm talking about. Anyone have a good recipe ? Thanks!

Needs suggestion on east side in 50's, 60's, 70's, not chinese, thai, sushi - not outrageous - for 3 pick women. HELP!

Dining with 3 picky people - can't be chinese or thai, can't be sushi too $$, would like something new or at least well reviewed and not outrageously priced. Thanks!

Need a rec. for good food, hip, slightly scneye restraurant for former NY'er coming back to town.

Transplanted NY'er coming back into town for 2 nights. Looking for good food, hip, sceney place that won't break the bank TOO much. I know hip/sceney and good food don't always go-but that has been the request!
Cuisine can be italian, Asian, French, American, etc. No steakhouses or sushi. THANK YOU!

Transplanted NY'er returning for 1 night - wants to be downtown - good food, somewhat scene-y if possible.

Thats a funny choice - this friend and i used to go there all the time when it was on 14th st. So I would rather something that's a little "newer". Chelsea is fine location. I have a res. at a few places so far - just figuring out my options. Thanks!

Grom Gelato? As good as advertised?

I didn't think so at all - A lot of hype - ridiculously expensive - and certainly nothing like the gelato I remember from Italy -
