Costco pizza crust dough

It's not something that'll ever be out on the floor. It's the dough for their food court pizza. I was just given this empty box for my loose purchases.

Costco pizza crust dough

I don't know if anyone has posted this before, but a box I got at the Van Nuys, CA Costco was for frozen Lamonica's pizza dough. It's from Lamonica's Pizza Dough Company in the 90058 zipcode, but the phone number is for the Lamonica's NY pizza restaurant in Westwood. The box says "Food Court Only" and a Costco item number, so it's not for retail sale. I don't know how much different it is from the Lamonica's pizza made in the restaurant other than where the dough was manufactured.

Buying packaged food with a bite already taken out

It could be similar to what I've seen people do at Costco--they open the clamshell packages of grapes or cherries or whatever and pack in extra from another package. Only with your chocolate, the short-weighted packages are more obvious than a 4-lb package that's short a half-pound.

No Coke, Pepsi!...at Costco

Perhaps it's because:

"PORTLAND, Ore. — Costco is no longer carrying Coca-Cola products in its stores nationwide because of a pricing dispute with the beverage maker . . ."

Big Carl down in price

It may be a franchise-specific thing--I noticed that a lot of San Fernando Valley CJr's had the Big Carl at $1.99 pretty much from the beginning; meanwhile, I think the national ads and the website still say $2.49. What's interesting is that the price for the Big Carl at the store near Sepulveda and Ventura is $1.99 vs. $2.49 at the UCLA store, but the Valley location's price for the Big Carl combo (and most of the other combos) is 10c higher than at UCLA!

The real thing to do is collect the coupons that arrive in the junk mail and the LA Times. The most recent set had twelve coupons, with a lot of useful ones like free medium fries and free medium drink with a Parmesan Chicken, upgrade any sandwich to a combo for $1, free medium fries with a Big Carl or an Original $6 burger, free small Original $6 combo with purchase of any size Original $6 combo (that one saves nearly $8), and various twofers.

Change in coupon policy at Costco

It all seems rather silly when you look at the backs of all of the coupons and find they all have the same code number! I was wondering how they managed to get all my coupon discounts last month before I got a chance to hand the coupons over--they only had to scan one bar code at the register.
