Susie Cakes on San Vicente- The red velvet cake is amazing. Also sell cakes as small cupcakes. This is not fancy in decorating- but so delicious.

Go to Sawtelle between olympic and Santa Monica. Hurry Curry, Sawtelle Kitchen, Hide Sushi- and more- lots of good eats.

La Cachette on Little Santa Monica west of Beverly Glen.
Delicious food- and Charming.

went to La Cachette- I forgot how great that place is. The food was so fresh and amazing. We ended up ordering 6 appetizers and having a bit of everything.

It is easy to forget because it is so tucked away- but it was just delicious.

There is a little cafe in the back of the store.
Go south on Topanga and left at Sherman way it is on the north side of the street.

It has great everything.

in NY little Italy- You need to call them to get shipped. But the best cheese! and I thought is was very cheap for the huge pieces and how delicious it was.

Its a little more west- but doughboys on 3rd and La Cienega.
not completely the deli experience but good- the best italian deli is farther west in
culver city called sorrentos on Sepulveda.

I have gone to Mastro's in BH a bunch and I have never been disappointed.

This will sound crazy but- Steakhouses have the best veggie sides if you can stand to be around meat. Mastro's is really nice in beverly hills, The Ivy has a perfect vegetable plate that is huge and super filling and you will have a second meal for the next day because it is just that big. (it may not list on menu but they still make with artichokes, corn, tons of versatile veggies) Real food Daily isn't nice- but the food is good- depending on what you get. BOA is another suggestions with the concept stated above in the SM area. I have been veg for 20 years and for the most part any of the nicer restaurants will hook you up especially if you call before hand. Leaf is quite hardcore and is also not nice but strict veg. Not a fan in the inn of the seventh ray was really dirty last time I went and so I never went back.

tandoori grill
Jimmy Dean's- yes chain but smaller with amazing veggie burgers
Grand Panda- never had the greasy meat situation (I only eat the veggies)
maru sushi- they use all organic veggies in their salads and sushi is very good
and the mexican place on Copper hill- name escaping me at the moment- they just put a second on on Bouquet.
Mom can cook- thai food- yes stupid name- but cheap and pretty good for what you get

Help- need an amazing caterer for girlfriends 40th..... She's already having a melt down about the age so food needs to be scrumptious.
