Chocolate Rum Pudding Cake

I think I would replace the soy with whole milk, the canola with butter and teh light rum with dark rum, maybe more rum less maple syrup. THEN I think I would like it! Maybe vanilla gelato.

Too much paper

Thanks Sasha - how gratifying to know that Chow is listening and adjusting. This is a great site - as was the mag - Intermezzo pales . . . Read the new Saveur last night, which I think is better and better, and may have bypassed Gourmet on my list of periodicals. To my way of thinking Chow is similar, as it has great variety, and is not just more of the same ol' thing. Thank you so much!

I wonder if Chow is listening to us, or if we can forward these thoughts to them?

Gare St. Lazare in Chicago?

Thank you. French the owner actually gave me the recipe - it made about 50# - and it was in my handbag when it was stolen. I would love the recipe!

Ivy chop salad

Still the best "chop salad" I've had, and a recipe seems elusive. Any help?

Chicken Mica?

A few, or several years ago there was a food article in the NYT mag about an eccentric, but popular gentleman and his entertaining habits. His favorite entree was "chicken Mica," but no recipe was provided. Any clues? I'm thinking Mica Ertegun had some involvement. Thank you.

Too much paper

Could you please adjust the printing so that when one prints a recipe one does not have to use 2 additional pieces of paper for all the misc. info? Thank you!
