Where can I find a good Yule Log for Christmas Eve dessert?

Where can I find a good Yule Log for Christmas Eve dessert?

Thanks to everyone who posted. I phoned around and did a comparison of the Yule Logs made at 6 great places recommended (in case anyone else is interested!).

All can be ordered up to a few days before except for the three marked in Caps below. Also Pusateris carries a variety from the various bakeries below and has most in stock for $25-$56.

After much consideration, we decided for this year to try the Verité (Chocolate Mousse)
12-person Bûche de Noël at Patachou.

Where can I find a good Yule Log for Christmas Eve dessert?

We're looking forward to a traditional French Canadian meal of Tortière for a main course, but wanted to follow with a Bûche de Noël - a traditional French dessert.

Any suggestions of the best place in town to place an order?

Christmas Dinner at a Downtown T.O. Hotel?

My father recently suffered a stroke that has put him in hospital and a wheelchair. My mother would like to book a Christmas dinner somewhere at a downtown hotel where he can participate for 2-3 hours (we will try to book a wheelchair taxi service).

Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to eat Christmas dinner downtown at any of the hotels? I know this is not ideal, but it's where we are at this year...
