Think Cafe (5th Street) has them fried and Think Bistro (25th & Western) has them sauteed, both in San Pedro.

Rex's Cafe in San Pedro has a great one with bacon and a toasted bagel. FYI, as a special only, call ahead. Breakfast and lunch only.

Definately not Cotija or Goat, not positive but most likely Jack and a semi-aged Cheddar

Burger Boy, great pic on FB for 26 Beach. You should also check out Relleno Burger at Bouzy's in Redondo Beach, knife 7 fork version and topped with Franks Vinaigrette.

For to go, believe it or not, Whole Foods in Torrance/RB does them in-house.

Havanamania in the South Bay on Inglewood and Manhattan Beach Blvd.

Any suggestions other than Shanghai Reds?

Alpine Village off the 110 in Torrance carries it in their deli.

Looking for a great Thai restaurant in this area, this is for out of town guests who grew up there. Would like to find one which is upscale, somewhat of a destination, occasion place.

Has anyone here been to the San Pedro Docks (Not Ports of Call area) for fresh fish? I haven't been in a couple of years. They used to open up to the public at 4:00 AM on Saturday morning for a couple of hours. I think it is at the end of 22nd Street at the water, there are some old warehouses that are wholesalers.

Believe it or not, Costco on Friday & Saturday set up a special seafood booth in the store, for to go, of course!

A couple of classic old joints (no a la carte) in the S.Bay area (R.B. & Torrance) are "The Bullpen" & the "San Franciscan" including cheezy entertainment.
