Pho Von on 82 is always a good choice. Just ate there on Saturday and had an excellent bowl of Pho and crsipy rolls.

Are there any Klamath Falls Hounds out there?
Can't beleive no one mentioned Wubba's Barbeque Shack. Great brisket, excellent burgers and fries. Take out only, although there are a few chairs and tables for use durning the summer. Don't know the address but not hard to find in K-Falls. definitely worth a try.

Wubba's (yep it's spelled right) Bar B Q is definitely #1. Take out only but great ribs, pulled pork and burgers.And the fries are pretty darned good too. Down the road from where Gotshalks( used to be) in a little drive through shack.

Bend and Sun River recommendations?
Try the Blacksmith, Ariana's or Stacatto for excellent Italian in Bend. Merenda is fine but try someplace different this trip. In Sunriver check out the Trout House, right on the river and now owned by the same folks who own the restaurant in Camp Sherman.

Good Indian Restaurant in Bend Oregon
Obviously you've never been to Bend. Taj Palace is located right on the main street of downtown Bend, Wall Street. Good food, excellent lunch buffet.
Chinese in Bend, OR?
I've tried the Vietnamese in Redmond twice. It's in the Fred Myer's Center. Not so hot. Had Pho & was really disappointed. Broth tasted like boullion cubes. Other dishes equally dull.

There isn't a single decent chinese restaurant in Bend, period. Chan's has the same brown sauce chinese as all the rest. There are two decent Thai, Toomies and a brand new one, Angel Thai. Jodie Menton, Merenda's, is supposed to open an upscale asian restaurant. We definitely need it in Bend.
