Dinner rec for Sat? - Farm/table-ish, near public trans

Hi DC Hounds,

My husband and I are coming down from Boston for the Rally to Restore Sanity and would like a dinner recommendation for Saturday night. Our parameters:

1. Ideally near public transportation
2. Can't be too dressy - we'll be in jeans from the rally
3. Our preference would be something farm to table-ish...if you know Boston restaurants, our favorite go-to place is The Hungry Mother
4. Love it if the place is on Open Table

Thanks so much for any help you can give us! I know next to nothing about DC restaurants, so don't omit the obvious.

Christmas lunch or dinner in Berkeley?

My family is meeting up (from Boston, LA, and Seattle) in the Bay Area for Christmas this year. We're staying in Berkeley for actual Christmas and are looking for somewhere good for a Christmas lunch or dinner. Open Table was little help...anyone have suggestions for restaurants with good food that are open (or that you think might be open)on Christmas?

Dinner Recommendations JP/Roxbury

So my husband and I are heading in from the burbs tomorrow to go to the ASP production of Much Ado About Nothing at the Hibernia Hall in Roxbury. I'm racking my brain for places to eat...we used to live in JP, so we have some familiarity. We're not looking to spend a lot of money (Ten Tables would be too much) or go to the South End. We were considering Zon's or maybe Doyle's (for nostalgia and beer, not really the food), but is there anything new we should consider? Or places people love we might not have been to? Bella Luna is off the list (I ate way too much there when I lived nearby)...I'd appreciate the help!

Need a Lunch recommendation

So my husband and I are going to NOLA this weekend for his brother's birthday party. Most meals are scheduled (Commander's Palace, Napoleon House, Cafe du Monde), but we need a recommendation for lunch on Saturday. Our flight gets in around 11, so we need somewhere where we don't need a reservation (in case of flight screw ups) and that is walking distance from Hotel Monteleone. Can anyone help? I'd also love to know why you recommend the place and a hint at price.
