I recall seeing a rooftop bar from the west side bike path (highway) somewhere around 14th street..it was a small building, possibly 2 or 3 floors max.

It wasn't far from the highway...any ideas?

Thanks.

Help! (Irving-Las Colinas) Looking for tex-ribs style fun place for group of 25.

Thanks for your time in responding. I passed along the grapevine info to my wine drinking cousins that will be there...i'm sure they'll check it out.

Silver Creek - you say avoid

Tim Hortons

Grabbed a large coffee and a french cruller and apple fritter this morning. The coffee tasted pretty darn good. the donuts were definately Hortons...both were fresh, moist and tasty (though i wonder where they're shipping them from). People were lined up at 7th and 50th.

Tim Hortons

Awesome Vegas! I hope the donuts are Tim's and not Dunkin...and I hope they have peanut (which i doubt they will, must be a Buffalo thing).

Hi, I'm counting on you folks.

Coming to Dallas for a wedding at the end of the summer. We have an extra night there to celebrate mom's 80th. Since we're already doing italian and such as part of the wedding weekend plans. I am looking for a fun, casual regional type of restaurant that us out of towners can go have good dinner after traveling all day to get down to TX.

We're staying in the Irving-Las Colinas area. The hotel suggested Pappa's BBQ or Sonny Bryan. which ar e nearby. Other suggestions have been Uncle Julio's or La Hacienda.

Anyone agree with these. I'm a tad weary of Sonny Bryan ... I don't want god-awful food...nor do we want a over-priced place.

Thanks!

Dinner after Cirque - somewhat reasonable?

Thanks everyone! Resident will likely be the choice of destination.

Dinner after Cirque - somewhat reasonable?

Can anyone recommend a dinner place after the Cirque on Saturday? Last time we went, I was with a group of people that had no vision to go away from the touristy street where Place Jacques-Cartier is. I remember after we ate, we walked around the corner and there were quieter, less populated places.

Any suggestions?

Merci!!!

Coffee place near Fairmount Bagel?

Coffee place near Fairmount Bagel?

Bonjour!

2 years ago when I was in Montreal, we had bought our bagels from Fairmount and was looking for a coffee place...I asked a man who was passing by on a bicycle where a good coffee place was. Now I wish I remembered the exact name. It was located a street or 2 away from Fairmount. It featured a coffee bar on one side, a bunch of table in the front and back, and a pool table. Does anyone know the name of this place?

Merci!

Marc
