2 very different reviews of Hey!

Just found if kind of interesting that 2 reviews come out in the same week and are at polar opposites of the spectrum. Steven Davey in NOW gives it a glowing, NNNN review; while Chris Nuttall-Smith in Saturday's Globe and Mail goes so far as to give it no stars. Thoughts?

want to try my first ever pork-bone soup, where should I go?

So, I have never had the stuff but really want to try it. I should mention I'm a hardcore downtowner, so won't be venturing out to Markham, etc. So, I'm asking for recommendations on which place in Koreatown (Bloor St. W.) is currently putting out the best bowl of Gamjatang. I'm not necessarily looking for the spiciest, but rather the most flavourful, with the best banchan to go with it. Also, are there any side dishes (other than the banchan) that people would recommend I order with it if I'm really hungry?

Which LCBO has the best beer selection?

Surprisingly, the LCBO in the plaza at Lawrence E. and Morningside (Scarberia) has a REALLY good beer selection. As Juno mentioned about another location it has the whole enclosed, refrigerated beer "room" with a great selection of domestic and imported.

"Only in Canada" food items: add to the list

Thought this would be an interesting exercise. Just off the top of my head: Smarties, Caramilk, Coffee Crisp, milk in bags (not jugs as in the States), butter tarts, I think Nanaimo bars are only available here...

Wings and beer at Bloor and Brunswick: St. Louis vs. Puck n' Wings?

Will be going for wings and beer with some friends in Bloor and Brunswick area, noticed when driving by that there's a St. Louis and a place called Puck n' Wings in the same block. Any recommendations from chowhounders on which of the two we should hit up?

Windsor-style pizza in Toronto?

Any new developments on the "Windsor style pizza in Toronto" front? I still say anyone who'd open a pizza place in T.O. serving Franco's/Trevi/Naples/Sam's style pizza would have a potential moneymaker on their hands. Although maybe you have to grow up with Windsor pizza to appreciate it like we former Windsorites do? God I miss the little cut-up strips of pepperoni on pizza...
