Hi Uwsister, which caterer did you end of using? Any recommendations? |

I am on the waitlist for Minibar and most likely will not get off it (3rd on the list). Where else should I go? I want to go to Komi or Little Serow but they are not open on Sunday. I used to live in DC several years ago so I've been to many of the staple restaurants, including Komi, which I loved. Any suggestions? |

Yup, I meant whether the amount on gift card exceeds the amount of bill whether i can use it as tip. I would assume yes since it is like cash, as the previous post wrote. Thanks all! Cannot wait to dine at Le Bernadin. I got to admit I have very disappointing experience at Per Se and Blue Hill so I am hoping Le Bernadin will not disappoint me. |

Does anyone know whether one guest can order from the Chef's tasting menu while the other order from the Bernadin menu? Or, do they force you to order the same menu for everyone at the table? Also, since i got a very generous gift card to le Bernadin, can we apply the unused amount to tips at all? ----- |

Experiences with "Chefs at Work" Caterers? Just want to piggyback all the other posts and see if anyone has any experience with Chefs at Work and have any feedback they can provide. Thanks. |

Experiences with "Chefs at Work" Caterers? I am thinking of having a wedding at Alder Manor and was wondering if the caterer provides linens and dinnerware, etc. |

Do they sell smarties in montreal?? Thanks for all your help. I love smarties and they never sell them in the States (except for gastronomic prices in big cities like NYC etc.) I cannot wait to go to Montreal JUST to get those smarties!! :) |

Brunoise or Les Chevres or Lemeac or La Chronique or Chez l'epicier If you can choose 3 out of the 5, what would you pick? |

Three days in Montreal - need help cutting down choices. I'll be in Montreal for three days and there are way too many good recommendations on this board and too little time to try all. Please help me cut down some of the choices. I am extremely picky about food so I'd appreciate good food critics to give me some good opinions. Brunch/Lunch: Le Jardin Nelson, Lemeac, la chronique (should i do dinner instead?), Reservoir Or, I can perhaps save Lemeac for after 10 pm where they serve two plates for 22 dollars? I know I am also missing plenty of great restaurants, but I'd love to hear more suggestions on what else to add and what I should take out of my list. Merci beaucoup en avance. |
